ABOUT

What Hypnotherapy is about
Hypnosis is a natural, yet altered state in which the critical factor of the mind has been bypassed, thus allowing the Hypnotist to directly communicate with the subconcious mind.
You will be fully aware at all times of your surroundings and what is happening. You will simply be in a state of heightened suggestibility. You will be neither unconcious, nor asleep, just very deeply relaxed. You will not do or say anything that conflicts with your morals.
Hypnosis is a normal condition that we all go into and out of every day. You will not feel “odd,” or “unusual.” The following exercise will give you an idea of what it feels like to be in hypnosis.
Please read all the way through the description of what I want you to do, before you begin. This will only take about a half minute, to a minute.
If you are sitting in a chair, put your feet on the floor, uncross your legs and put your hands in your lap. Then, take a deep breath and let it out slowly. (That all should have taken about 15 seconds) As you exhale, let your eyes close and let your muscles relax a little. Let your head slowly drop to your chest and notice how your body feels now… your arms, legs, shoulders and neck muscles. Breathe normally for about 3-4 more breaths as you mentally explore the feelings of relaxation.
Now return to your normal state of awareness. That was a light, to medium, undirected hypnotic “trance.”
You didn’t feel like you were in a trance, because hypnosis is a familiar, normal condition that we find ourselves in several times daily.
Also, you may have noticed the more relaxed and refreshed feeling in your body after doing this exercise. I threw that in as a bonus.
People usually wonder how many sessions it will take to be successful and I tell them that it depends on the issue and the more complex issues may require more in depth methods and more follow up visits. Most issues can normally be dealt with in 2-3 sessions, while others may require 5-6

My Passion

For years I struggled with limiting beliefs and obstacles in my own life. There were times when I thought no hope was in site with those issues and every aspect of my life was impacted. Realtionships fell apart, employment became sporadic and it seemed that every day was a struggle to just get through.
Then one day I decided that I would check out hypnosis. After all…I had seen the ads for smoking cessation using hypnosis, so I figured maybe it would be useful for other things. Lo and behold…I discovered that it could benefit every aspect of my life, so I decided to give it a shot. After doing a lot of research, I took the leap of faith and what a change it has made in my entire outlook on life. It totally reframed my way of looking at obstacles and old beliefs about my abilities, that had been holding me back from changing my situation in life. I was able to stop old habits that were unhealthy and that enabled me to start moving forward in a positive direction.
I was so impressed with the change in attitude and the realization that I could accomplish things I had never dreamed of, that I decided to learn this thing called HYPNOTHERAPY, so that I would be able to help others overcome the things that are holding them down. After all…when people are healthy and positive, even the people around them are feeling better by feeding off the positive energy. And…that helps make the world a better place.
So, this is my new passion in life. Helping others overcome the obstacles that are holding them back from being the best person they can be, for themselves and the people around them who they love and care about.
My passion is helping you succeed!!!

My Goals

I succeed when YOU succeed

In a study conducted by American Health Magazine, the effectiveness of psychoanalysis, behavioral therapy, and hypnosis was compared.
It was found that:
  • With hypnosis, 93% of people recovered after only six sessions
  • Behavioral therapy worked for 72% after 22 sessions.
  • Psychoanalysis presented a 38% recovery rate for those who underwent 600 sessions.
  • Hypnotherapy: 93% recovery rate after only 6 sessions 93% 93%
  • Behavioral therapy: 72% recovery rate after 22 sessions 72% 72%
  • Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery rate after 600 sessions 38% 38%
In 1955, the British Medical Association issued a report stating that it approved of the use of hypnosis as a valuable medical tool.  It was also suggested that all physicians and medical students receive fundamental training in its usage. In 1962 the American Psychiatric Association recognized that hypnosis was a viable modality in the realm of psychology.
